Day 1 saw Jess compete in the 200m Free heats were she swam a 2.04.03 - just outside her PB. Jess swam her fastest first 100 for a long time which she will be please with.

Also competing today was Jess' former Squad Training Partner at Bayside Josh Beard who is competing in his first International pool event. Normally known for his great open water swimming Josh stood up well today for his country in the 200m Free where he was just outside his PB with a 1.57.12
